Do you remember the cover with the lace?

Hi, I'm Daniela and I'd like to tell you how this project called Fregole was born. I'm an interior designer and my job requires me to move constantly: not only to reach a client, a supplier or a shop, I also move a lot within the same space, like a house or a construction site. Leaving my phone everywhere and spending the rest of my time looking for it had led me to buy the typical cover with the cord. Not very stylish, can I say that? And above all that nylon cord
cut the neck. Then I removed the string and started to thread it in
a scarf or tie that matched what I was wearing. But the scarves or ties were always either too long or too short or too wide or too thick. And the patterns weren't what I wanted. So I bought some fabrics that I
I liked them and went to the seamstress. I started wearing them. My friends and clients went crazy, people stopped me in the street to ask me where I bought that beautiful “lace”. It was 2022 and the Bandine were born.

I didn't like the lace and I invented the Bandine.

I have always thought that styling, when we dress, makes the difference. So the following year I created the Maxi Colletti: double-face men's shirt collars. Accessories capable of making even a simple white t-shirt sophisticated and above all capable of
multiply the outfits. Since I have always had the habit
stealing my partner's blazers, creating some ultra-feminine pocket squares was a fairly spontaneous step. And finally, this year I created my own
first collection of clothes: a one-size dress, which I called Tunica, that looks good on everyone and can be worn in 10 different ways thanks to two laces that enhance every body and physique. Why did I call the brand Fregole?
Fregole was my blog, back when everyone, or almost everyone, had one. I opened it for therapeutic purposes: to talk about the things I liked in order to buy less of them. Which, in reality, I ended up buying more of. When the time came to give a name to my brand, I had no doubts: Fregole was the name
perfect. My grandmother always said that I had “fregole” because I was restless, I wanted a little of this and a little of that and it was never enough. Today maybe she would give me one of those smiles with her eyes, if she saw how far that little girl's fregole have gone.
